We Work By & Through Others

“Helping improve patient access to much-needed dental care is important to DMF. Particularly for those who can’t afford the cost of treatment. We love how the Midwest spirit of helping our neighbor is on full display at the North Dakota Mission of Mercy and we invite all to join us in giving to this important cause.”

– Pat Traynor, Dakota Medical Foundation Executive Director

We lead initiatives to create a region of the healthiest people, build the fundraising success of health-related nonprofits, and invest in new ideas that can create widespread health improvement.

We further invest our resources in helping nonprofits become exceptional at fundraising. With money for their missions, organizations multiply their impact on health and quality of life. Our fundraising system teaches charities “how to fish” and has trained nearly 5,000 people from more than 450 nonprofits in North Dakota and western Minnesota. Organizations using the system are raising vastly more and are expanding their capacity to solve health problems we face in this region.

North Dakota Dental Foundation – Host

We promote oral health for all.

“The North Dakota Dental Foundation is honored to host this event which helps so many North Dakotans receive much-needed immediate dental care. Our foundation promotes oral health for all by focusing on access to care, education, & workforce development. The North Dakota Mission of Mercy accomplishes all three of our pillars.”

-Mike Little, NDDF Executive Director

The North Dakota Dental Foundation is a Section 501 c 3 organization established September 22nd, 1986 to foster and promote dental health. The Foundation board is comprised of dental health professionals as well as members from outside the profession that have a passion for dental health.

The North Dakota Dental Foundation offers grant and scholarship opportunities and in-kind services for programs that meet the core purpose of the NDDF. We do this by providing dental services to underserved populations, by promoting dental health initiatives, and by supporting dental profession careers within North Dakota educational institutions to enhance dental education and research.

The focus is on supporting initiatives that create lasting improvement in the dental health and quality of life for all North Dakotans. Organization and initiatives that share our cultural standards will receive priority.
